Session Delivery Formats

Each year, the Education sessions at InfoComm India draw a substantial audience of industry professionals. Most accepted submissions from our Call for Presentations (CFP) are featured in the InfoComm India Education Program, which focuses on vendor-neutral technical and professional sessions.

The session type you choose depends on how you intend to deliver your content. During the application process, you must select one of three session formats: Presentation (20 min), Case Study (20 min), or Panel Discussion (45 min) as either a Moderator or Panelist. If our team believes that a different format would be more suitable, we will be in touch.

Presentation: This format involves the delivery of technical content by one or two speakers, sharing key insights, solutions, and takeaways. It also includes a dedicated time for audience Q&A.

Case Study: Share a real-world example of how a technology, process, or solution led to success. This format allows for audience Q&A as well.

Panel: Engage in a discussion of current trends or technology developments from various perspectives, featuring no more than five speakers, including the moderator. Audience Q&A is an integral part of this format.

Learning Levels

Attendees at InfoComm India 24 have a diverse range of knowledge and expertise when it comes to education and training. To best cater to our target audience, which includes technology managers, end users, AV/IT designers, integrators, and engineers, it is important that you tailor their topics accordingly.

Speakers should consider the varied backgrounds of our attendees and assume a basic understanding of industry knowledge. To help attendees choose sessions that align with their expertise, we request that speakers specify the level of their proposed content session using one of the following knowledge levels:

Beginner – suitable for attendees with little to no prior exposure to the topic area covered by the session.

Intermediate – suitable for attendees with exposure and some experience in the topic area covered by the session.

Advanced – suitable for attendees with extensive experience in the topic area covered by the session.

Submission Guidelines

InfoComm India 24 is seeking sessions that embody thoughtfulness, creativity, and data-driven case studies and presentations. Speakers are encouraged to ensure that their submission content directly relates to the Pro AV industry and its communities. When proposing topics, speakers should have in mind the goal that InfoComm India 24 attendees should leave with actionable insights, best practices, and innovative ideas they can put into practice immediately.

Please note the following guidelines:

  • InfoComm India 24 reserves the right to merge session abstracts or request adjustments to the session’s scope and format to maintain the balance of the education programme.
  • We will only consider unbiased, non-proprietary presentations. The use of the education program as a platform for product or service promotion is not permitted.
  • Session dates and times are subject to change.
  • Due to the substantial volume of submissions, we regret that InfoComm India 24 cannot provide individual feedback on why a submission may not have been accepted.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to receiving your valuable submissions.

Selection Process

The selection process at InfoComm India 24 is conducted by subject matter experts with extensive industry experience. Recommendations for session inclusion are based on several key factors, including the quality of the proposal, the expertise of the presenter or facilitator, alignment with requested topics, and suitability for our InfoComm India 24 audience.

All presentations are chosen based on the information provided during the submission process. We expect submitters to meticulously follow all instructions and provide all the requested information. Incomplete submissions will regrettably not be considered.

The selection process involves a thorough review of every complete presentation submitted before the deadline. Completed submissions must include comprehensive speaker profiles (including bios and photos) for each session content leader, detailed session descriptions, and clear, actionable learning objectives.

It is important to note that we typically receive more submissions than we can accept. The final acceptance of presentations is also dependent on space availability and the uniqueness of the proposals.

Submissions are evaluated on the following criteria:

  • Complete presentation submission, submitted by the deadline.
